"We are waiting for the village to appear so we can
fully acknowledge our sorrows.”

- Francis Weller, The Wild Edge of Sorrow

When a significant person in our life dies, our grief can feel as big as the ocean. Many of us feel lonely and isolated in our grief. Yet experts agree:
We are not meant to grieve alone.

The holiday season can increase those feelings of loneliness and isolation, and at the same time, it can also trigger bigger waves of grief,
making them more choppy than usual.

This supportive online group is offered to help us navigate these waves in companionship with others who are grieving. You are invited to be seen and heard in your grief and to learn about yourself as you journey through loss.

Time will be set aside for sharing and receiving/giving support to each other, psychoeducation on grief from a radical perspective, tools and strategies for managing grief, and rituals to help metabolize feelings of loss and grief.
